James Fox, the director of the 2020 UFO documentary “The Phenomenon,” claimed on Wednesday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that YouTuber Logan Paul secretly recorded footage of what some in the UFO community consider the most convincing UFO sighting video ever.
The video was originally recorded by two men in the Nevada desert around 30 years ago and was never widely shared.
Fox alleged that Paul was “very impressed” by the video when he told him about it on the “Impaulsive” podcast in 2021.
Paul approached UFO specialist Chuck Clark with $100,000 in cash for the tape, but Clark turned down the offer.
However, Paul insisted on at least watching the video, which he secretly recorded from different angles using a hidden button camera on his clothing, according to Fox.
The video allegedly shows two unidentified men capturing a UFO very close to their car with a handheld camera.
Fox described the UFO as a disk with glowing, yellowy-orange skin that wobbled like it was unstable.
Paul has yet to unveil the video due to fears of potential legal issues as the U.S. government has been adamant about keeping such footage and information under wraps.
Fox claimed to have seen the video back in 1995 and was impressed by the footage’s authenticity.
The video abruptly ends after the disk is seen.
The younger of the two men in the video went out of the car to film the disk that was so low, you could have hit it with a rock.
