A man in New Orleans discovered a gravestone under his house while clearing out rubble during repair and renovation work.
The gravestone belonged to Alberta R L Perkins, who was born in 1900 and died in 1978.
The man was left on edge after finding the gravestone and shared a warning for poltergeist activity on Reddit.
He explained that his house was built in the 1890s, and he doesn’t live near a graveyard, so someone must have moved the gravestone there.

Some Reddit users encouraged him to track down Alberta R L Perkins’s family, while others urged him to throw it away or risk being haunted.
The man refused to move the gravestone and joked that he didn’t want any gris gris put on him.

Despite the curiosity of Reddit users, the man refused to open the door, citing horror movies as his reasoning.
Some users urged him to open the door and live stream it.
The man stated that he would eventually open the door but wanted to keep the mystery alive, as the mystery is always cooler than the answer.
