During a Senate hearing, Dr Sean Kirkpatrick from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office at the Pentagon shared video footage of a small flying orb filmed by a US drone in the Middle East.
The hearing also discussed the Pentagon’s investigation into hundreds of instances of oddly shaped objects seen by US pilots, with Dr Kirkpatrick stating that most cases are “readily explainable.”
The Anomaly Resolution Office has found no credible evidence of extraterrestrial activity or off-world technology.

The US government is currently tracking more than 650 cases of “unidentified aerial phenomenon,” and Dr Kirkpatrick’s office is aiding in identifying emerging foreign tech, such as the Chinese spy balloon shot down off the coast of South Carolina in February.
Dr Kirkpatrick also shared footage of another declassified case from South Asia where an object flew past two MQ-9 drones, which was initially thought to be “truly anomalous” but was later identified as a “shadow image” of a commuter aircraft’s heat signature.
Senators raised concerns about possible technology advancements from Russia and China, with Dr Kirkpatrick stating that he has some worries that the episodes may show such advancements and that these cases are forwarded to the intelligence community.
Despite these concerns, he clarified that he has no evidence of such capabilities being employed against the US in these cases.
