The United States Government has shared new footage of a UFO flying at super speed.
The object, known as an unidentified aerial phenomenon or UAP, appeared to have a propulsion trail and was seen flying over South Asia earlier this year.
However, Dr Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), explained to the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities that the object was likely a “sensor artefact” and that this case is classed as “resolved”.

The military tracks and categorizes UFOs, and an extensive report is due to be published in the summer.
The committee was shown two videos, one of which was from an American MQ-9 Reaper drone, showing an orb-like object passing underneath the $28million drone at high speed.
The second video showed an “unresolved” UFO seen in the Middle East in a conflict zone in 2022. Of the 650 reported cases of UFOs, 52% are spheres.
Dr Kirkpatrick said that the military assesses each case based on whether they are attached to a national security area or exhibit anomalous phenomenology.
While the object in the Middle East video is not exhibiting anomalous behavior, it remains unidentified.
Dr Kirkpatrick also highlighted the extensive analysis required to examine such footage, which involves pulling the data apart frame by frame and matching it with models of imaging sensors.
The hearing showed that there is no definitive evidence of alien activity or intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.
