A paranormal investigation team called the Scottish Ghost Company believes they captured an eerie image of a “shadow figure” walking near the changing rooms of the historic Renfrew Baths pool during a recent ghost hunting event.
On November 25th, the team was investigating the Edwardian-era pool and witnessed some unusual activity like flickering flashlights. Later, while reviewing photos taken after the event, they spotted what looks like a shadowy figure of a man wandering along the poolside – despite confirmation that no staff were in the area and the team’s guests were elsewhere.
When zoomed in, the image clearly shows what appears to be a person’s silhouette walking. Team member Yvonne Hydes told Glasgow Live they feel it’s amazing to have potentially caught a spirit on camera. The photo has gone viral online, racking up reactions from commenters who say they’ve had their own spooky encounters there.
Some think there is more than one ghostly figure visible, speculating it could be related to stories of a boy who tragically died at the baths in the 1940s. The team is delighted by this compelling photographic evidence of a haunting at the historically eerie Renfrew Baths.
