Mexican authorities are on the search for a mysterious creature similar to Scotland’s iconic Loch Ness Monster that is allegedly inhabiting an immense reservoir next to a massive dam.
Over 5,000 miles from the fabled Loch Ness in Scotland lies another lake that is now home to a monster of its own.

The imaging appears to outline a dark, possibly fin-shaped or curved silhouette emerging from the Madin Dam Basin.
In Atizapan de Zaragoza, Mexico, the local authorities have now commanded their police officers to patrol the lake and investigate these sightings further.
According to the locals, much like Nessie’s myth, this mysterious creature is believed to be a dinosaur that has evolved in seclusion..
According to Atizapan civic leaders, people say that a Mexican Nessie lives at the bottom of the reservoir and protects the area.
By dispatching patrols to the lake, the authorities expect to discover what secrets lurk beneath its depths.
Local media quoted the Atizapan Town Hall as saying in a statement: “This fact adds to comments from residents of Atizapan, who assure that a dinosaur lives at the bottom of the dam, which protects the place.”
They added: “At the request of the citizens, the government of Atizapan de Zaragoza will carry out patrols around the place to clear up the mystery.”
Not everyone, though, is convinced.
According to local outlets, there is some speculation that the ‘monster’ could be a colossal crocodile or perhaps just an enormous clump of sewage waste.
Numerous people have voiced their disapproval of human interference, with some outrightly expressing their opposition. ” leave the poor animal in peace” and “don’t go and kill it”.
