A new witness has emerged claiming to have photographed a bizarre unidentified flying object near the site of a famous 1967 UFO incident in Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia. The witness, identified only as John Doe, states that the photo was taken about a week after multiple witnesses reported seeing a large illuminated craft crash into the waters near the quiet fishing village.
Despite a Canadian Navy search at the time, no wreckage was ever recovered. However, according to the recent witness account, the object later emerged from the sea and ascended rapidly into the sky. The newly submitted photo shows an approximately 18-meter-long rectangular craft emitting a bright light. The witness asserts that the object exhibited no visible means of propulsion before quickly vanishing.
The photo and testimony were sent to the investigative publication Unexplained Mysteries. While impossible to authenticate after over 50 years, the account notably aligns with certain details from the original mass sighting, which has remained shrouded in mystery. Could this witness hold a missing piece to understanding what transpired at Shag Harbour in 1967?
“This was a large brilliantly lit rectangular shaped object, it came out of the water and ascended into the sky and quickly disappeared. This photograph was taken roughly 30 miles away from Shag Harbour, about a week after the incident started,” he wrote.
“As far as I am aware and to the best of my knowledge, NO manmade aircraft or submarines possessing such technology exist? One can clearly see from the photo enlargement that this object has no visible means of propulsion, wings, engines etc, quiet extraordinary and remarkable as to how this object moved and traveled around!”
“I have carried this burden for over 50 years and it is now time to set this free.”
