Southampton, England – A local pumpkin farm has earned a new Guinness World Record for the largest pumpkin mosaic ever created.
Sunnyfields Farm celebrated the 30th anniversary of the classic film The Nightmare Before Christmas by arranging over 10,000 pumpkins and squash into a giant mosaic depicting the character Jack Skellington. The massive artwork measured an impressive 2,081 square feet.

The Nelson family, owners of Sunnyfields Farm, worked with a small team to carefully place each pumpkin and squash into position. It took them around 10 hours over the course of a day to complete the detailed mosaic.
After an inspection by an official Guinness World Records adjudicator, the pumpkin mosaic was confirmed as the new record holder. On Tuesday, the Nelsons were presented with a certificate commemorating their extraordinary achievement.
The pumpkin mosaic depicts Jack Skellington singing the famous song “Jack’s Lament” from the beloved 1993 stop-motion animation film directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton. The Nightmare Before Christmas has become a cultural phenomenon, with Jack Skellington becoming a popular Halloween icon.
Sunnyfields Farm’s record-breaking pumpkin mosaic will be on display throughout the Halloween season for visitors to admire.
