Giza.Mused allows you to explore the vast and mysterious interior of the iconic Great Pyramid in stunning 3D, including its three main compartments – the King’s Chamber at the uppermost level, followed by Queen’s Chamber in the middle chamber, and finally an underground room.

As you progress along the tour, click on several of the links to get more information about Egypt’s largest pyramid – a monumental structure standing at 145 meters high and also part of an ancient world wonder. It is through a joint effort between Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and Harvard University’s Giza Project that made this exciting virtual exhibition possible; one which compiles many archives from all over the world regarding the Giza Plateau into one place.

Constructed around 4,500 years ago during Egypt’s ancient empire, the Great Pyramid of Giza was once an awe-inspiring sight that towered over its surroundings for 3,800 years. Commissioned by pharaohs and their wives as a resting place in deathly slumber, these royal tombs were built with utmost precision and care. To this day the remains of those entombed there still bear witness to their timeless majesty.

Aside from the iconic pyramid tour, this platform provides excursions to other local attractions like the majestic Great Sphinx and various ancient tombs.
