Ghost Hunters Uncover Eerie Voices and Unexplained Phenomena at Salisbury’s Rifle Museum

Tony and Bev Ferguson, a husband and wife duo known for debunking paranormal claims, recently visited the Rifle Museum in Salisbury. The museum, a Grade II listed building, has long been rumored to be haunted, with reports of visitors hearing children’s voices and whistling. The Fergusons, who document their experiences to seek evidence, joined a last-minute tour organized by Haunting Nights, a team of Ghost Hunters.

Despite their extensive experience on ghost tours, Tony declared the Rifle Museum to be one of his “top 20 paranormal experiences.” The caretaker, initially skeptical about the paranormal, guided them through the premises. Within the first hour, the Fergusons and the rest of the group, consisting of believers and non-believers, heard the distinct voices of children and whistling. These eerie sounds were captured on camera and were also confirmed by other visitors.

As the night progressed, the group found themselves in the basement of the museum. It was there that they heard a male voice responding to their questions. The voice even reacted to the mention of the cause of death for a particular gentleman. To everyone’s surprise, a loud bang resounded through the room, causing everyone to jump. Tony searched for the source of the noise but found nothing visible.

Tapping and creaking sounds were also present throughout the tour, but the Fergusons attributed these to the building’s age rather than paranormal phenomena. They deliberately refrained from discussing specific claims with the museum staff beforehand to avoid being influenced or misled.

During the tour, the Fergusons noticed a couple with an army background who seemed particularly connected to the spirits. The gentleman received notable responses when calling out and asking questions. Intrigued, Tony and Bev ventured into the basement alone with this couple. They were startled when the couple experienced a ghostly voice speaking right next to them, causing them to jump in fright.

Eager to investigate further, the Fergusons plan to return to the Rifle Museum with Ghost2Ghost Paranormal Investigators, Debbie Mcall and Emily Cowell. Together, they aim to conduct experiments and delve deeper into the strange occurrences at the museum.
