York Castle Museum, renowned for its purported paranormal activity and frequent reports of poltergeists and spirits, has once again made headlines. A recent visitor, Zoe Callow, who happens to run Gwynedd Paranormal Investigations, was in for a spine-chilling surprise during her holiday trip to the historic site.
Accompanied by her husband, brother-in-law, and his wife, Zoe and her group indulged in taking numerous photos to capture the essence of their museum visit. Little did they know that an inexplicable encounter awaited them within the images they had captured.
Upon returning home and reviewing their pictures, Zoe’s sharp-eyed team member, LLywela Wharton, brought something peculiar to her attention. Hidden in the background of one of the photographs was a ghostly visage, resembling the silhouette of a “child-like doll.” Startled by the discovery, the group embarked on further investigations to validate the eerie sighting.
Thoroughly combing through the other photos taken at the location, they were astounded to find that the ghostly shadow was exclusive to that particular image. Even in the videos recorded during their visit, there was no sign of a doll or mannequin in the back of the old car.
In response to the uncanny discovery, the group expressed their astonishment, exclaiming, “WTAF? On our recent visit to York, we went to the York Castle Museum. Took millions of photos and didn’t even notice this…… Was pointed out by one of the team members, LLywela Wharton lol. We’ve just checked other pictures and a video for anyone sitting in there and there was nobody.”
Zoe Callow, with her background in paranormal investigations, acknowledges that while ghost sightings should be approached with skepticism, this particular image has left them intrigued. Gwynedd Paranormal Investigations plans to subject the photograph to rigorous analysis, employing their scientific expertise to ascertain the authenticity of the anomaly.
