Paranormal Investigation at The Talbot Hotel Unveils Eerie Encounters

Tracey Druce and her husband, Andy Lindon, both members of Conjure Quest Paranormal Investigations, recently embarked on an overnight lockdown investigation alongside Black Country History Hunter, Jamie Beddard, to explore the enigmatic depths of The Talbot Hotel in Stourbridge.

This suspenseful nocturnal quest, live-streamed on social media, unfolded with a series of spine-tingling encounters as the trio ventured into the realm of the supernatural in an attempt to commune with the departed. During the course of the night, Tracey recounted a hair-raising moment when she felt a ghostly presence breathing in her ear, while Jamie captured a startling “shadow figure” making its eerie passage through a doorway at approximately 4 am.

When asked about their motivation for delving into the mysteries of The Talbot Hotel, Tracey disclosed, “We were drawn by the stories circulating about this place. People have spoken of its haunted reputation, citing sightings of spirits. Initially, our interest was piqued by tales surrounding ‘Room 19,’ though it should be noted that the room numbers have since been reconfigured. Our curiosity was further fueled when we watched an episode of ‘Help! My House is Haunted!’ which featured investigations at the hotel back in 2017 and 2018, prior to its closure.”

“Since then,” Tracey continued, “we’ve been eager to explore the hotel ourselves. The new owner revealed that staff had reported witnessing strange occurrences and hearing unexplained noises. She graciously granted us unfettered access to the premises, and we commenced our investigation at around 7 pm.”

With no preconceived notions of what they might encounter, the team embarked on their eerie journey. Tracey admitted that they didn’t capture much footage in the hotel’s winding tunnels, but she did highlight that they received some “intriguing” responses while in the ballroom.

The historic Talbot Hotel has graced Stourbridge’s main street since the early 17th century when it served as a townhouse for the renowned local Foley family.

Intriguingly, Tracey and Andy are set to return to The Talbot Hotel this week, driven by their insatiable quest to further explore the unexplained phenomena lurking within its aged walls.
