Bigfoot enthusiast Chuck Headley recently posted photos on Facebook of a large, nine-inch footprint he discovered imprinted in thick mud in West Virginia. The outline shows five toes apparently from a creature that emerged from a nearby body of water. Headley provided a tape measure for scale to showcase the imprint’s significant size. However, many commenters met the photos with skepticism, questioning why only a single footprint was found instead of an entire track. Some accused Headley of fabricating the print himself by sliding his boot through the mud. Others pointed out suspicious details like the print’s precision despite the mud’s messiness.
