In a recent interview with Vulture, model and actress Julia Fox revealed that she believes her new home in New York City is inhabited by a ghost named “Beauty.” Fox shared that she felt drawn to the house and sensed a spiritual presence before discovering a shrine dedicated to the ghost in the basement. According to Fox, Beauty is the matriarch of the home and watches over her and her son.
Fox, known for her roles in films like “Uncut Gems,” discussed her belief in ghosts and other dimensions. She described her experiences of being drawn to the house during full moons, describing the atmosphere as magical, mystical, and supernatural.
The 33-year-old actress, who recently purchased the New York City home in 2023, likened her real-life situation to her new film, “Presence.” The Steven Soderbergh film, in which Fox stars alongside Lucy Liu, revolves around a family moving into a new home with supernatural entities.
Fox, who attended the Sundance Film Festival to promote “Presence,” shared her appreciation for the Western mountain vibe, describing it as romantic. She expressed her love for the surroundings and mentioned dressing in a “Western Bride” look during her time at the festival, donning head-to-toe denim, a white fur coat, and a veil.
