Multiple individuals in Middletown, Ohio, have reported witnessing an intriguing event on Wednesday night, claiming to have seen rotating UFOs in the night sky. According to witnesses, strange green lights were observed above their heads at approximately 10:30 pm. One resident, Bryce Garrick, recounted his experience to local news outlet WCPO Cincinnati, stating that he noticed the object while in his car.
Garrick shared a video with the news outlet, which depicted five green lights arranged in a circular formation rotating counterclockwise before swiftly shooting off to the left and disappearing from sight. Another witness, Caden Little, described the incident as frightening, noting that the object vanished within a matter of seconds. Little expressed that the appearance of the lights was unlike anything he had ever seen before, and he emphasized that they did not resemble any type of drone he was familiar with.
Bryan Simpson, the president of the Cincinnati Astronomical Society, voiced skepticism regarding the lights’ origin, suggesting that it might be a staged event for social media attention. Simpson mentioned that multiple reports of the same phenomenon would lend more authenticity to the claims. He further stated that without a substantial number of consistent reports, the likelihood of the event being genuine decreases, as it could potentially be fabricated using readily available motion graphics software for platforms like TikTok.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office, when contacted by the news outlet, confirmed that they had not received any calls regarding the lights. Dispatchers admitted they were unable to provide an explanation for the sightings at the time.
